Terms of Service
By using Ciclovelo's website and services, you agree to these terms. Ciclovelo operates as a consignment marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of premium bicycles. We facilitate transactions but are not the buyer or seller of listed items unless explicitly stated. All listings are subject to our inspection and approval process.
Consignment Agreement
Sellers who submit bikes to Ciclovelo enter into a consignment agreement upon acceptance. Ciclovelo retains a consignment fee from the final sale price. The standard consignment period is 90 days. Ciclovelo reserves the right to adjust listing prices with seller consent if market conditions change.
Buyer Protection
All bikes sold through Ciclovelo undergo a multi-point structural inspection. Buyers who discover undisclosed structural defects within 48 hours of delivery may initiate a return. Ciclovelo's inspection guarantee covers defects that should have been identified during our lab inspection process.
Privacy Policy
We collect personal information necessary to facilitate consignment sales, including contact details and bike specifications submitted through our intake form. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Payment information is processed through secure third-party escrow providers.
Limitation of Liability
Ciclovelo's liability is limited to the consignment fee collected on any given transaction. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform or services.
